Helen T2023-11-22Top end resort in tropical gargens The hotel kindly arranged a taxi from Sihanoukville at a good price.On arrival we received a warm reception and were allowed use of our room from 10.30.Similarly on checkout we used the room until after lunch. The whole resort has been furnished to a very high level.It was spotless.The room was large and spacious and had the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept in. The pool had plenty of sun loungers and was spotlessly clean.The gardens were lush and well kept.We ate a few times at the restaurant and found the food to be some of the best we had eaten in Cambodia. Overall I think it’s the staff that stood out the most.There was always someone available ready to help with a smile. Thank you all for a lovely stay.Verified

Il se situe au bord de la rivière et on peut y emprunter des kayaks pour traverser l’incroyable “cathédrale verte”. Nous avons opté pour une virée en petit bateau à moteur. C’était une expérience inoubliable pour toute la famille. Le personnel est aux petits soins, tout est bien organisé, la végétation luxuriante est bien entretenue et les chambres sont très propres et décorées avec beaucoup de goût. La piscine est également très agréable. Bref, vraiment parfait! Nous conseillons éventuellement au restaurant d’informer aux clients ou de mentionner sur la carte lorsque certains plats sont épicés (surtout pour nos jeunes européens pas trop habitués).Verified

The moment I stepped into the lobby of this resort, I got a great first impression. When my buddy and I arrived at the resort early, at 12 pm, everything was ready for us; we checked in right away and were given a room to rest. The front desk staff was pleasant and helpful. If you enjoy the outdoors and want to get away from stressful city life, visiting this place is one of the best options to rejuvenate yourself. A highlight you shouldn't miss is Kayak King, which is available for free while you're there, as well as the free speed boat that will take you down Kampot's the riverfront and show you the region's stunning natural beauty. Ideal for Yoga and Meditation retreats or rejuvenating 7 km away from Kampot city center, River Tree Villa & Resort is a calm and peaceful resort that is perfect for those who are looking for a quiet place for an escape to relax and rejuvenate. The resort is surrounded by beautiful Jak trees and some of their villas are faced with a quiet small river, you would find many resorts in Kampot but there is no other resort that has this kind of ambience. The room decor is classy like a 5-star one, the amenities in the room are just well enough for me to put myself at east, the room size is so spacious and all the rooms always have great views, they also use organic bathroom amenities and refillable bottles water and biodegradable or paper bathroom products to reduce single-use plastic, and this is a kind of a resort that I love the most, there is a Sauna, spa, big swimming pool and restaurant for all day dining, they specialize in Khmer food, and I tried some of the Khmer dishes were so delicious and yummy, it’s an authentic Khmer flavor. The services were exceptional, the GM Pheng and his staff Ms. Srey Deoun from the Restaurant has a beautiful smile with a very positive attitude. They do provide a lot of value adds including with the room charge like Pick up and transfer from the city, free bicycle, free Kayak, and free 30 minutes speed boat riding which is worth the price of around 90us$ per night per room. I strongly recommend this place to other people, especially for the Yoga or Meditation retreats group should never choose any other resorts if they plan to do their retreats in Kampot. Overall, Kampot is always a destination not to be missed in Cambodia, there’re many activities to enjoy, and has all the nature that people would require, like waterfall, mountains, hills, rivers, local farms and one of the best places to taste natural Khmer Seafood, I highly recommend all the tourists from all the nations include this hidden gem in their itineraries when travel to Cambodia.Verified
